I have been working in the field of General Surgery for over 30 years and as a consultant since 2000. I have special interest in the surgical management of abdominal wall hernia repair and gallstones including key hole bile duct exploration. Since 2000, my focus had been on laparoscopic surgery. I attended many training courses in my field and I gained advanced laparoscopic skills. Over the period of my practice, I have carried out a large number of gallbladder removals exceeding 2,000 cases and that taught me a lot of skills that I pass on to my colleagues and trainees. I am a faculty member on laparoscopic training courses (gallbladder and hernia repair). At Spire Methley Park Hospital, I provide key hole and open repair of groin hernia, repair of abdominal wall hernia, key hole removal of gallbladder, diagnostic camera test of the stomach (gastroscopy), removal of benign skin lesions and lumps and pumps under general and local anaesthetic.
