Mr A Orabi

Mr Orabi is an experienced and extensively trained ENT surgeon. Mr Orabi studied and qualified in 1990 at Ain Shams University Medical School, Cairo, and went on to complete an internship and residency training program in ENT/Laryngology and then a Master’s degree, which led to him being appointed Assistant Lecturer at the university. After completing the ECFMG/US.MLE certification in the USA (American equivalent of MB BCh- Medical school graduation exam), Mr Orabi moved to the UK where he undertook a number of regional SHO posts. He went on to complete his specialist higher surgical training in the North West/Manchester Rotation in 2007 followed by more than a year of post CCST advanced fellowship training in London and translational lab research at Kings College, London. Mr Orabi is currently employed as a Consultant ENT Surgeon with specialist interest in Head and Neck/Thyroid and Parathyroid surgery since 2014. He is a core member of the Bradford Head and Neck MDT, Regional Thyroid/Parathyroid cancer MDT in Leeds and the Local Endocrine MDT. He is also the clinical governance lead for ENT, undergraduate tutor for Leeds medical students in ENT and Educational supervisor for junior medical staff and GP trainees in ENT within the trust.
