Mr Kieran Gallagher graduated from Imperial Medical School in London, where he also gained a degree in Neuroscience. After Basic Surgical Training and a research post at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, he was appointed to the South West London Orthopaedic Specialist Training Rotation. He underwent further specialist Fellowship training in Hip Surgery at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital under the tutelage of Professor Middleton. His NHS practice is as an orthopaedic and trauma consultant at Poole General Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, where he specialises in and carries out all aspects of hip surgery. Mr Gallagher devotes a lot of time to research and is involved in several studies and projects that have been published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national conferences.
