Mr Dabis was appointed as a Consultant Specialist Knee and Trauma surgeon in Kingston Hospital in July 2019. He treats all aspects of knee pathology, ranging from paediatric knee conditions to ligament reconstructions through to simple and complex knee replacements. His main passion is all aspects of sports knee injuries, including knee preservation. He also focuses on partial and total knee knee replacements. He is trained in using navigation, robotics and minimally invasive techniques. Mr Dabis has also completed a Sports and Exercise Medicine Masters in University College London. He is a member of the British Association for Surgery of the Knee, European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee surgery & Arthroscopy, British Orthopaedic Sports Trauma and Arthroscopy Association, and the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. Mr Dabis has received various orthopaedic awards from prestigious specialty societies including ESSKA. Mr Dabis has presented nationally and internationally, and published on ligament surgery, osteotomy and specialised procedures. He also has contributed to many textbooks, and is enthusiastic about teaching and training physiotherapists and trainee doctors.
