Special clinical interests
As an orthopaedic consultant surgeon specialising in foot and ankle pathology and its treatment, I have extensive experience and training in surgical and non-surgical techniques, regularly introducing new and modern techniques to the patients in Yorkshire and beyond.
I have become a national and international lecturer in the treatment of sporting and traumatic foot injuries and can offer patients up to date knowledge and experience to ensure the right investigations and treatment are offered. I have close links with therapists and podiatrists and have close links with the other medical and surgical specialists which may be required to treat foot and ankle pathology.
Having helped develop a fully multidisciplinary clinic in the management of foot disease in diabetes and nerve injuries I have become a expert on the treatment of these complex problems. The knowledge gained from treating these diseases and deformities gains access to equipment and implants which can aid other patients with complex deformity and multi systemic diseases.
