Qualified in 1990 and trained at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School in London. Postgraduate training was predominantly in west London and Sydney and was awarded an MD in 1994, an MRCOG in 1995, and FRCOG in 2005. The author of many book chapters and publications in the field of gynaecological cancer and surgery, A past officer of British Gynaecological Cancer Society and British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. Past president of British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons and current president of the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (SERGS).
