Dr Sergio Nabais De Araujo

Dr Sergio Nabais has been a Consultant Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust since 2014. His main area of expertise is coronary artery disease, coronary angioplasty and stents. He is also an Honorary Interventional Cardiologist at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Dr Nabais completed his medical qualification in 2002 after successfully obtaining his Medical Degree (Licentiate in Medicine) at the University of Porto with outstanding marks and several academic prizes. Dr Nabais completed his specialist training in General Medicine and Cardiology training in 2010, practicing across University Hospitals in the North of Portugal. In 2011 he completed a Subspecialty Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at one of the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. He is an expert in coronary angioplasty and stents. Dr Nabais went on to achieve an MSc in Health Economics, Outcomes and Management in Cardiovascular Sciences with Distinction at The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2021. Dr Nabais has published an extensive number of peer-reviewed articles in renowned medical publications.
