Dr Richard Hughes

I trained in medicine at Oxford University Medical School and subsequently undertook junior doctor and radiology training at Guys and St Thomas' Hospital in London. I was a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London from 2004-2007 prior to moving to Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS trust in 2007. I am based at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, home of the National Spinal Cord Injury Centre. I specialise in Orthopaedic/ musculoskeletal and spinal imaging and image-guided interventions. I regularly lecture locally and nationally on these topics and have over 20 peer-reviewed publications in these fields.
