Dr Mohamed Otify, MSc, MRCOG Consultant gynaecologist, Subspecialist in gynaecological oncology surgery Consultant in gynaecological oncology surgery at Liverpool Women's Hospital Accredited sub-specialist in gynaecological oncology surgery. Accredited Laparoscopic and Robotic gynaecological surgeon I am an approved healthcare provider for all major insurance companies and available for private consultation and operations by appointment. I am skilled in the diagnosis, investigation, and management of gynaecological conditions including and not limited to fibroids, endometriosis, uterine anomalies, polycystic ovaries, abnormal vaginal bleeding including heavy and irregular menstrual bleeding, and, pelvic pain. I am an expert in gynaecological cancers screening, diagnosis and surgical treatment, including cervical, ovarian, uterine and vulval cancers. I perform various complex major gynaecological procedures, including advanced laparoscopic surgical techniques and robotic surgery. I trained as an obstetrician and gynaecologist. The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists awarded me its membership in 2010. I progressed my training in obstetrics and gynaecology in London and Edinburgh, followed by a sub-speciality fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology Surgery at St James’s University Hospital, Leeds, after which the General Medical Council accredited me as a dual specialist. I have enhanced minimal access surgical skills by obtaining a Diploma of Gynaecological Endoscopy from the European Academy of Gynaecological Surgery, Leuven, Belgium. I am widely published and actively involved in the training, examination and supervision of students and specialists. I contributed to major gynaecological oncology research studies. I present at national and international conferences and events on gynaecological cancers. I have an excellent record of improving patient outcomes, partnership, and innovation across women’s health.
