Dr Michael Gross

I am a Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist accredited by the General Medical Council. I was short listed as UK “Hospital Doctor of the Year” both in 1998 and 1999 and in 2013 and 2014 colleagues nominated me within the Tatler 250 Best Doctors. I attended Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University followed by The London Hospital, graduating in 1976. I am a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and undertook a Medical Doctorate during the 1980s. I trained at the Hammersmith, The London Chest, The Royal Free and The National Hospital. My senior registrar post was between St Mary’s Hospital and The National Hospital. I was appointed Consultant Neurologist at The Royal Surrey County Hospital, becoming Chairman of Neurosciences in 1991. I decided to leave the NHS in 2001 to concentrate on full-time private clinical and medico-legal practice. I have published extensively in many areas of neurological practice. I have been invited to give lectures at prestigious societies and on an international basis. I continue to have research interests within neurology and have an annual appraisal. I was revalidated by the GMC in 2019, having now completed 16 annual appraisals.

All aspects of clinical neurology including headache and pain syndromes, fits, faints and funny turns and dizziness. Work closely with The London Balance Clinic at The Body Factory on helping any kind of balance or walking disorder. Chronic fatigue, muscle pain and unravelling complex symptoms. MS, stroke Parkinson's, neuropathy. My wife Karen and I own and run The Body Factory Rehabilitation Centre in Central Harrow. We do not employ therapists bur supervise their quality as they rent space.
