GMC reg: 6163369I am a fully qualified pain medicine doctor. I hold UK exams in pain and anaesthetics - FFPMRCA, FRCA. I did my basic medical training at Leeds University (MbCHB). I have done a 6 month specialist fellowship in neuromodulation and intractable cancer pain management. I took up my consultant post at Leeds Teaching Hospitals - the largest trust in Europe with over a billion pound budget in 2018. Leeds is a fantastic hospital which encourages cutting edge pain medicine techniques and has allowed me to develop my skills and offer highly specialised pain management services. Implantable devices such as spinal cord stimulators, intrathecal pumps, peripheral nerve stimulators and multifidus implants are part of my repertoire. I am governance lead for the department as well as taking leading roles in training and cancer pain. I am on the national committee for professional standards for the faculty of pain medicine. I am interested in research, most of my publications are in the field of spinal cord stimulation. I have written book chapters including ones on back pain and interventional management of cancer pain. I offer private consultations at Spire Leeds and the Living Care Group.
