Dr Jaymin Morjaria

Dr Morjaria graduated from the St. Bartholomew’s & Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary & Westfield, University of London in 2000. His research was in severe asthma from which I acquired a MD (University of London, 2009). He completed his specialist training in the East of England (Cambridge) Deanery in 2010 and worked at the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust for 5 years (up to August 2015). There he led the airways service, participated in the respiratory and general medical rotas as well as saw patients with general respiratory conditions including pulmonary malignancies. His role also involved participating as principal investigator (pharma- and investigator-led) in number of research studies in airways diseases, bronchiectasis and cough. Additionally, he was engaged in teaching in various delivery modalities of education to medical students, junior doctors, and healthcare professionals both in primary and secondary care. He has lectured/presented at local, national and international meetings.  On a regular basis he contributes to writing peer reviewed journal articles as well as reviewing them, besides being on the editorial board of a peer review journal.

Dr Morjaria has interests in airways disease (asthma and COPD), smoking cessation, cough, sleep, bronchiectasis, lung cancer and pulmonary interventions (bronchoscopies & EBUS)
