GMC reg: 3294783Ian Geh graduated from University College Hospital (UCH), University of London in 1988. He trained in Clinical Oncology in London and was awarded the British Oncological Association Young Investigator's Prize in 1998. He was appointed as Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham in 1999. He specialises in the non-surgical treatment of bowel cancers, neuroendocrine tumours and gastrointestinal stromal tumours. Ian Geh is chair and lead author of the Association of Coloproctology of GB & Ireland Guidelines for the Management of Cancer of the Colon, Rectum and Anus, which was published in July 2017. He co-authored the 2007 ACPGBI guidelines as well as the Guidelines in the Management of GISTs (2009). Ian Geh has a strong research background and was a member of the National Cancer Research Institute Upper GI Clinical Trials Group from 2004-2012. He has been on the trial management group of the SCOPE-1, TREC and STAR-TREC trials. He has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals and book chapters.
