Dr Anjali Zarkar

Dr Anjali Zarkar is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Honorary Senior lecture at the University of Birmingham. She works full time in the NHS as well as looks after patients in the private sector. She has been consultant for more than 15 years. She has specialist interest in treating Prostate cancer (localised and advanced), Kidney cancer (advanced) and bladder cancers (localised and advanced). She delivers radiotherapy for haematological malignancies such as lymphoma and myeloma. She is part of multidisciplinary team at University hospitals Birmingham involving haematological and urological cancers. She has an interest in stereotactic radiotherapy especially for oligo metastatic disease, as primary prostate cancer treatment and leading on stereotactic radiotherapy for primary kidney cancer at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. She has been Principle investigator for numerous urological clinical trials. She has numerous national and international publications.
