Dr Abhay Bagewadi

I am a General Gastroenterologist with a sub specialty interest in Endoscopy. I have been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn since 2015. I have a wide experience in managing Gastroenterological disorders and advanced endoscopy. I have had extensive training in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and General Medicine. My ethos is to always put the needs of his patients first and ensure high quality clinical care at all times. My endoscopy key performance indicators are above the national standards. I am actively involved in teaching Medical students and Junior doctors. I am a Honorary Associate Professor at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. I am also the Local and International examiner for the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. I enjoy playing league cricket and travelling.

Symptoms: Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, heartburn, reflux, indigestion, weight loss, rectal bleeding, vomiting, nausea, bloating, change in bowel habits.  Diseases: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastro-esophageal reflux disease, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, Barrett's esophagus, Cancer diagnosis of the GI tract. Procedures: Endoscopy, Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Colonic polyp removal, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy.
