Mr Senior graduated from Nottingham University Medical School, in 1998, with bachelor's degrees in medicine, surgery and medical sciences. He trained at the Royal London Hospital Trauma Unit for one year before spending time in the South of England to complete his higher surgical training in orthopaedics. He went on to achieve fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and also completed fellowship training in arthroplasty, shoulder and trauma surgery at North Shore Hospital, New Zealand. Since 2009, Mr Senior has held the position of consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Dorset County Hospital, a role he also fulfills at BMI The Winterbourne Hospital. Mr Senior has conducted and contributed to numerous projects researching techniques for treating shoulder conditions, two of which have helped introduce revolutionary new treatment methods. He also regularly presents research papers at events in the UK and abroad, as well as being published in various orthopaedic journals and publications.
