I graduated from Bombay University. I came to UK in 1995 and did higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in West of Scotland training programme. I was also Clinical Lecturer at Glasgow University. I have been in consultant post since 2003 and have performed large numbers of hip replacement surgery with good outcomes. I am currently working at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow. I supervise and teach higher surgical trainees in Trauma & Orthopaedics in West of Scotland training programme. I am clinical and education supervisor for junior doctors and also teach medical students. I am departmental lead for enhanced recovery programme for hip replacement surgery.
