PHIN hosted its annual informal Members’ Meeting on Wednesday 21st July.

Following an introduction by Andrew Vallance-Owen, PHIN’s Chairman, our Chief Executive, Matt James, presented an update on our progress so far this year, including the launch of a new consumer website. Matt then set out details of PHIN’s proposed five-year strategy, including funding.

In line with PHIN’s consultation in the autumn of 2020, the strategic plan is based around the following themes:

  • Accelerating and completing delivery of the CMA requirements
  • Focusing on delivering meaningful information and benefit to patients
  • Working collaboratively towards aligning healthcare data standards and a ‘collect once, share often’ approach
  • Creating value for members and stakeholders
