The role of Consultants Services Executive is vital to ensure PHIN establishes and maintains a trusted relationship with medical consultants in order to deliver on our objectives. The Consultants Services Executive supports the Consultants Services Manager with external communications, meetings with professional associations and individual consultants, analysis of progress by consultants towards compliance, as well as being the first contact for most incoming questions and enquiries.

Reporting to the Consultants Services Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating a range of engagement campaigns with consultants, professional associations and wider stakeholders and for monitoring consultants’ progress towards compliance with the Private Healthcare Market Investigation Order (the Order). However, you will also have the opportunity to provide ad-hoc support for hospitals, as required.

You will produce and circulate communications aimed at encouraging consultants to meet their legal obligations under the CMA Order 2014, particularly Article 22.

You will support activities that seek feedback from consultants and identify trends that indicate a requirement for engagement and improvement. Where improvements are made to a service or to our website or portal, you will liaise with all teams internally to ensure that such changes are tested with consultants and once changes are implemented that consultants receive communications that set out the purpose and/or benefit of these changes in a way that is clear and concise.
